Corrections

Accuracy matters to Leshai. This page explains how to report an error and how we review, correct and document meaningful changes.

Last updated: October 20, 2026

This page is provided for general information and does not replace advice from a qualified lawyer. Leshai may update this page as its services and legal obligations change.

How to report an error

If you see a factual error, broken attribution, incorrect link, image-credit issue or misleading disclosure, email shayinthemedia@hotmail.com. Include the article URL, the specific passage or image, the problem you see and, where possible, a reliable source that supports the correction.

Please use the subject line “Correction request” so the message can be routed quickly. We review good-faith requests from readers, sources, subjects, rights holders and representatives. A request for a correction is not a guarantee that we will make the change; we assess the evidence and context independently.

What we correct

We prioritize errors that materially change the meaning of an article, misidentify a person or place, misstate a number or date, misattribute words or images, omit a relevant disclosure, or create a meaningful risk of harm. We may also correct broken links, captions, spelling, grammar and formatting when needed.

How corrections appear

For a material correction, we update the relevant passage and add a concise correction note near the article or at the end of the page. The note will generally state the publication date of the correction and what was changed. Where a correction affects the headline, summary, social preview or image, we will update those elements as appropriate.

We may make minor edits for spelling, grammar, clarity, formatting, accessibility, broken links or updated availability without a correction note. We do not silently change the substance of a published argument simply because a view has become inconvenient or unpopular.

Updates and clarifications

Some articles develop after publication. We may add new context, links, quotes or information when it improves accuracy or reader understanding. When the addition is material, we will identify it as an update and include the date when practical. Updates do not change the original publication date.

Right of reply and disputed claims

If a person or organization believes an article is inaccurate or unfair, we welcome a specific response supported by relevant information. We may publish a correction, clarification, update, response, link or other editorial treatment depending on the evidence, public interest and available space. We do not remove accurate coverage solely because someone dislikes it.

Review and response time

We aim to acknowledge correction requests within a reasonable period and to investigate material issues promptly. Response time may vary based on complexity, source availability, safety concerns and whether the request arrives outside normal working hours. We may ask for clarification or supporting documentation before deciding what action is appropriate.

Contact

Send correction requests, attribution concerns and right-of-reply requests to shayinthemedia@hotmail.com with the relevant URL and subject line “Correction request.” For privacy or legal concerns, identify the issue clearly so we can escalate it for review.
